Pumpkin Painting at the Library

Pumpkin Painting at the Library

THE WARTY PUMPKINS ESPECIALLY PEAKED MY INTEREST. LIKE WILLIAM SAID, THEY ALSO GET IN ALL SORTS OF FLOWERS AND PRODUCE FOR THE SEASON. AND SPEAKING OF PUMPKINS, THE STEELE MEMORIAL LIBRARY IS HOSTING SOME PUMPKIN PAINTING EVENTS IN OCTOBER TO GET READY FOR THE SPOOKIEST OF SEASONS. THEY WILL HAVE TWO SEPARATE PAINTING EVENTS, ON THE 10TH AND 14TH. THIS ALONG WITH MANY OTHER HALLOWEEN EVENTS AT THE LIBRARY. DORIS JEAN METZGER: “It’s so much fun to paint pumpkins, you can’t get enough of it. On the 10th we’re doing all ages pumpkin painting for adults and teens and then on the 14th of October which is Columbus Day so there is no school, so we’re doing a teen only pumpkin painting as well. and we’re experimenting with glow in the dark paint.” DORIS ALSO TOLD ME THAT OCTOBER IS A GREAT TIME TO VISIT THE LIBRARY BECAUSE OF ALL THE SPOOKY SEASON EVENTS THEY HOST. SPOOKY STACKS, A LARGE TRICK OR TREAT EVENT AND PARTY ON THE 24TH OF OCTOBER FOR LITTLE KIDS AND FAMILIES. AND ON THE VERY NEXT NIGHT THEY WILL HOST A FREE HALLOWEEN DANCE FOR TEENS 12-18 WITH FOOD, GAMES, AND PRIZES. I LOVE HALLOWEEN AND THE ENTIRE FALL SEASON. HOPEFULLY IT WILL STAY FEELING LIKE FALL AS WELL. REPORTING LIVE IN THE STUDIO, AUSTIN EVANS, 18 NEWS.
