Protective Paintball Gear : Goggles for Paintball

Hi I’m Robert Stewart with hill13.com. Next
we’re going to talk about goggle replacement and maintenance. Now if you’re going to be
renting a pair of of masks on the field make sure that you check the goggles first. Make
sure that the liners are intact for the comfort of your face, which are these foam inserts.
That the goggle framework is not cracked or broken. And that the lenses themselves are
not floating free inside of the goggles assembly. Now, if they’re broken then take them back
to the field hut and get a replacement. If it’s your own mask don’t try to short circuit
and take duct tape and replace it. Your eyes are more valuable than that. A goggle replacement
for your mask is probably not going to cost you more than $25 and your eyes are a lot
more valuable. In terms of when you purchase replacements especially you can, if you don’t
have anti glare, anti fog on them, you can buy them after market and install them in
your mask. Anti glare means that it cuts down on the amount of sunlight that’s coming through
to your eyes. It makes it a little bit clearer field of vision and it’s a little easier to
spot your target. Anti fog, which we’ve talked about before keeps the interior of the lenses
from fogging up and obscuring your vision. Now it’s not pain ball. It’s paint ball. And
it’s everyone’s job on the field, whether you’re at a walk on commercial field or just
playing with your friends to ensure that everyone stays safe.
