Poster Photo – Perspective and exposure adjustment in Paint.NET


What a poor photo, let’s make it nice. First we draw some horizontal lines for reference Then we select Perspective tool and adjust the photo to fit our horizontal lines After adjusting perspective we select the main part And cut out unnecessary stuff with Ctrl+Shift+x Clear the upper Layer Select Gradient tool and apply to the upper Layer Find a proper blending mode, in my case Color Burn, works best Select a proper opacity level Increase a little saturation But there is still something missing, hmmmmm Cut out weird looking letters After finishing cutting letters you should add your chosen color under the cutouts I’d like to recommend also saving .pdn file in case you need to re-edit something later The difference is obvious… … but still can’t match the original or remaking it from scratch…
