Painting with a Drone

Painting with a Drone

Well a lot of people call me the Bob Ross
of the RC helicopter world so I decided why not paint a picture with a drone. Let’s see if it can be dun. Ok so first we’re going to try for a blue
sky with a little blue acrylic paint here. We’ll just dab a little on our brush. There you go. Now let’s turn on the helicopter and paint. We’re fighting a little bit of wind from
the lake here so It’s going to be a little difficult. To keep it straight. But this is going to be our blue sky just
give it light dabs on the top. There’s a couple of nice blue patches for
our blue sky. Try not to let your aircraft spin out of control. There we go let’s get some nice streaks
across there. Let’s dab a few more blue streaks. There we go. Getting some decent blue coverage for our
sky here. Let’s grab a little more paint for our brush. Dab some more paint on, this is a nice sky
blue. Ok let’s see if we can finish off our blue
sky here. Let’s get a little more right there. There we go. Try and cover as much of the sky as I can. Try not to cut your canvas if you can. Ok so there is our blue sky. Let’s switch colors to a nice soothing green
for the grass, how about that. Of cores we’re going to wash off our paint
brush With a nice little dab in the water like that,
there you go. Now we’ll try a little grass colored green
for the ground. We need to dab a little bit on our paint brush
there. And now we will see if we can paint our grass
in. There is where our grass will start. We don’t want grass in the sky now. There you go. A few nice happy random blades of grass Unfortunately it goes through paint very quickly. You get about one stroke…at a time And the wind doesn’t really help. Pretty decent green coverage here for our
grass. Let’s try not to cut our canvas now,
be nice to your canvas. Getting some nice…Decent green coverage. I do believe we need a little more green paint……….get a nice
little green dab. Let’s see if we can finish our happy little
grass here Try not to slip off and hit your easel. A little dab in this little spot here. And down here. We really want to try and coat as much as
we can. Let’s see if we can get a little more paint
in this corner here And a little more right here in this bottom
corner. Let’s go ahead and clean our brush and try
and paint a happy little tree. We’ll put some of this multicolored paint
on the brush. This happy little tree is going to live right
in the center of our painting. Right…….here, there’s our happy little
tree I’ll try and keep it centered. There’s a slight breeze out today coming off the lake. It’s blown my easel over one or twice already. So it does make flying and painting a bit more difficult. There’s a branch for our happy tree. So there’s a very lovely breeze coming in
off the lake right now. And we’re going to wait just a moment for
the breeze to pass because you can’t control the wind but you
can control the aircraft. And it seams like the happy little breeze
has flown through so let’s see if we can finish our happy
little tree. It seams our friendly breeze is coming and
going. Let’s see if we can finish the base of our happy little tree. There’s his happy little tree trunk. A happy little branched that the breeze helped
with. Fill in our happy little bonsai tree at least
there’s a little tree stump there. And there we go we have our beautiful happy
tree Sitting on wonderful green grass right here With a nice beautiful blue sky up top. And that’s how you paint with a drone As always don’t forget to subscribe, we
