Something to remember when you are using warm
and cool colors, when you’re mixing them on your color palette, when you mix them together,
the warm and cool colors, if you mix cool colors with cool colors and warm colors with
warm colors, it’s hard to go around but when you start mixing the two together, it’s easy
to get muddy colors. Muddy colors would be something that wouldn’t really be definable
as any certain color. You really want to have colors that are really going to be definable
as something you know like a bluish green or a light-pinky purple or something like
even if they’re not real words of anything, you want to be able to like have it as like
a real color and not like a muddy area on your painting because it does make a difference.
Like when you’re looking at your composition as a whole, you can spot the places that have
the muddy colors and that’s, you really, really want to try and avoid that because it does
make a difference so just try and be careful when you are mixing warm and cool colors.
