Painted Rock Idea Cocoa Tutorial with Paint Pens.

Painted Rock Idea Cocoa Tutorial with Paint Pens.

We are going to be doing the marshmallow and
the cocoa cup rock and I am going to show it 2 different ways one is going to be an
outline and the other one is going to be just kind of winging it with the colors and then
doing the details most of the time I just really try to get so much done and when you
are traveling or something coloring these in is actually fun I like to do that so we
are just drawing 2 pieces of ply wood and you can round the corners if you want or not
this part here is going to be the top of the cocoa so we are going to come around here
and that is going to be the back of the coffee cup and this one you are going to come over
there and it is going to go and there is some steam I don’t know if you can see it there
you go okay the next thing is the bottom of the cup okay cocoa it is so this is one way
to do it draw the heart this is also from pinterest it is not my idea I am just simply
enjoying it and trying to do the my version that I can so that is the way to do the outlined
ones the other way is to do it with basically just
in your mind a coffee cup that color is way too hard to see let me get a different color
it is going to be mixed in because it is still wet but that is not a problem so this one
just makes it so you only have to do the outline once I mean if everything goes as planned
so you basically just pick out what colors you want them to be and draw the shapes of
them and then you come through and you add the fine detail this is usually the faster
way to do it but because this is acrylic it is training to give me a little trouble it
will even seal a little funny I should have used a posca background rock rather than an
acrylic rather than this for this particular thing next we do the marshmallows and we will
leave a gap for these for the cocoa I am so used to saying coffee I feel like I should
be saying coffee and not cocoa just portions of all these little marshmallows I recommend
going over these things a couple of times especially with the backgrounds being different
brand and different types next is orange but we want that to dry a little so I am going
to get a little purple to see if I can feel this in a little better using some of the
bigger sizes speeds up the process but not when you need to have smaller ones okay so
I need to have brown there you are I don’t think this brown is working there it is this
one is going to be a tight squeeze will see just drawing the general shape of the cocoa
so the idea behind this is they get done and they dry and it looks like this so what I
am going to do here is show you how to draw that in so we have some steam coming off the
top we have the marshmallow the little face also do a
quote on the side I was going to write something like the fire is so delightful something like
that because they are all cozy there we go the little cheekies and there is that one
it looks much different than this one especially because the size of the rocks changing it
so this is the one that we can go over to real quick I am going to have to get more
rocks so I can keep doing these I wish I had big rocks it is way easier to show it is way
easier to show with big rocks and then back to the dots don’t wanna forget those lines
the rock is a different texture it is taking the ink just a little different this one I
also did different I did this line over here these ones don’t have that line there it is
personal preference I am going to draw 4 dots down here to give it a pattern next is trying
to do something with this one this rock is going to be a challenge but I have had much
harder challenges and the top of it doesn’t really matter too much as long as you give
it around kind of you make it too connected it doesn’t look like a real marshmallow just
adding some lines in the cocoa my favorite I think is to do it the outline and then color
in the outline so we are going to start with coloring in the marshmallows next is brown
delicious cocoa and next is going to be what color? orange orange will definitely need
another coat next I am going to use blue no I am not it doesn’t have enough ink in it
all my inks are running empty gotta start doing one or two per video instead of every
rock that I can fit in my pockets silly me do a little orange part here little face probably
going to have to do this upside down okay this is going to go like this then the faces
on this one alright now that is going to need some cheeks just a little going to flip this
tip there we go (talking to son)go over this one now we are going to make the coffee wave
so that just follows along here there is this one that one is done this one is done this
one needs a little decoration early I moved everything ooh I just realized I had another
one to do well then I am just going to use black polka dots since I can’t find what I
was looking for and then i did that so now we are just improvising do the line under
the coffee/cocoa and then that one do some white on each side of the stem to give it
some accent marks this one is just like the first one the first style where you don’t
do the lines until afterwards I am going to do pink we are going to do the faces right now those
marshmallows do not look very marshmallowy I will blame my son for that I was worried
about him coming over here moving stuff around he didn’t do anything but I am going to blame
him anyway oh goodness oh goodness well I was going to have it kind of undone going
to have to have it up seems to be the best way to keep the rocks from running when they
are a tilted rock I am just blowing up here (my pen)I just did that again we just won’t
tell people about this one that is it for tonight I hope you enjoy the videos I posted
today I enjoy making them have a goodnight
