New Technique 6 Color brushstroke Love Birds Silhouette painting EASY

hi I’m Your Art sherpa
and today I want to show you a really fun technique where you paint with six
colors at the exact same time so get a big wide brush and the materials listed
in the description below I’m gonna show you how to make this rainbow spectacular
two birds on a branch come on let’s go you’re going to need for this project
red paint orange paint yellow paint green paint blue paint purple paint and
a big wide brush or painting get your brush wet drag off the extra water coming
to your rainbow and very carefully load it up bring it to your canvas and come
across so as you’re pulling the color across
the canvas remember that you can go back and finish up a stroke as long as you
line it up now I’m coming back over with a clean dry brush just smooth and blend
now that’s a very interesting technique and it can be challenging so just
remember to clean your brushes between swipes and go slowly give yourself time
to do it because once you learn how to do it it is a lot of fun
the next part we’re going to put in our bird silhouette using black paint and a
round brush I’m going to dip my brush in water and
drag off the extra and I will load up my black paint well into my big round brush
this is a number six round I’m going to come over here from the left-hand side and just make a little branchy line
coming across my surface I like it to be thicker at the beginning and come out
smaller as it gets to its little bitty branches now they give lots of room for our
lovebirds I’m gonna make two little
leaf shapes these are gonna be the bird bodies I’m gonna be facing each other as
they’re a pair make a little round shape at the end of
the body start talking about a little bird head very carefully a little tail off the back
like to imply a little bit of wing in your little triangle you’re just
little brushstrokes that I pull in that’s a beak them little legs
I like a little bend in them show that they’re perched and if you want to you
can give them a few little feathers on top of their little her bird hit add
some leaves to your branch and we have to turn the campus get this
never be afraid of repositioning your canvas
to get better control over what you’re painting
just a fun silly little painting you can do on any little Saturday sure relax
and celebrate color sometimes it’s nice to put an upward branch once you know
where your little birds are going to be the balance out the piece nature and see I’m just putting leaves here and
they’re just using my brush press and release
look at those little leaf shapes you can always put some blowing off and
you’re all done get a nice signing brush your signature so know that you made it
give yourself a pat on the back remember art can be fun you can be playful and it
can be easy doesn’t have to be difficult and you can always always get all the
extra help you need at the art Tripp accom remember to be good to yourself be
good to each other and I want to see you at an easel really soon bye bye
