¡MARCADORES COMESTIBLES! Dibuja en tu comida / postres fáciles ✄ Craftingeek

Hello Crafters! Welcome to this Crafty Thursday I was happy about reading your comments on the previous video about “The Craftingeek Week” and all the ideas you guys wanted to see You can still leave your comments on this video so head to the comment section and start writing What would you want to see? Remember that this Craftingeek week is a celebration for the 3 million crafters So today we’re going to make Edible markers! You might ask yourself: Why would I want an edible marker? Well they are used for desserts and in the kitchen to decorate meals they make your job a lot easier They look like this They sell them on bakery stores but sometimes it’s hard to get your hand on them but in this tutorial I’m going to show you how to make your own edible markers of any color that you want so that you can use them for your food. The only things that we’re going to need for this Crafty Thursday Are: colored markers the kind that say “Non Toxic and “Washable” preferably use markers that you don’t use anymore and that are dried up and check to see that they’re easy to open on the back side like these ones that have a white lid be careful because there are some markers that are sealed like this one over here that you wont be able to open unless you break the marker but then it wont work anymore and you’re also going to need liquid food coloring like these that they sell at the grocery store The first thing that we’re going to do is: Open the marker on the back part using pliers very carefully so that we wont mess up the lid so that it can close up again and take out the cotton in the middle where the ink is Next we’re going to head to a sink I’m going to use this container to reuse the water that’s coming out Open the faucet with the smallest amount of water and then put the cotton underneath to remove the ink, you’re going to start to see the ink falling on the bottom It’s important for the markers to be washable or else the ink will never come off I recommend you to squeeze it from time to time to so that the ink can come out faster Once it’s completely white we’re going to use the other part of the marker which is the tip you’re also going to add water and ink will start coming out and we’re going to write over our hand to remove the rest of the ink repeat this until there isn’t any more ink of the color that you’re using Now that both parts don’t have any ink we can start filling it up The first thing we need to do is check on the foam you have one side that has a hole and another one that’s plain we’re going to use the side that has a hole to fill it up faster Use the food colorings that come in a dropper and start adding them like this be careful not to spill it and let it absorb so that it can fill up faster I recommend you to do this on containers that you don’t really care for just in case you leave a stain When you start to see that the drops on the bottom have some color it means that it’s completely filled up If you want to make other colors that don’t come on the liquid food coloring that you bought you can use gel food coloring, all you have to do is dilute it with some water and use a dropper to fill it up it’s going to be a lot easier, I seriously recommend you to use a dropper or else it’ll take years for you to fill it up Once we finished filling up our tubes with ink what we’re going to do is check to see where the hole is on the sponge and this is the side that we’re going to place on the tip of the marker place it in and then close it up We’re going to wait a while for the ink to come down and after a while we’re going to write on a napkin until it stains And that’s it! Now you can use your markers to have fun painting I recommend you to use them for the first time on cookies you can make something simple like this emoji or something a little more complicated like this mandala that important thing is that it’s going to make painting a lot easier and you’re going to have a lot of fun Remember to store your markers with the rest of the food coloring so that you can use them on your next project 🙂 And we have finished! If you guys got as excited as me you probably made all the colors of the rainbow but its awesome because now you can use them on your next desserts That’s it for today Crafters! Remember to leave a comment below saying what you want to see on the Craftingeek week so that I can tell you guys the exact date And I’ll see you on my social media and on the next video! Goodbye! 😀 (You can also visit my webpage at: www.craftingeek.me)
