On behalf of Expert village I’m Dan Foss with
Arizona Paintball Adventures here today to talk to you about paintballing in the woods.
Okay we just finished playing a couple of games today. One of those was elimination.
I am sure those people that play halo what slayer is and that’s what we played. We played
Team Slayer where we eliminate the other team, everybody. We also play a round where it is
everybody for themselves. We form a circle in the middle like a clock, elbow to elbow.
We do about face and then we turn and you can either run, you can walk or do whatever
you want. We count to 20 and then we stop and take cover and we say game on and then
what your object is to try to talk out everybody else and be the last man standing. We only
go out with one full hopper and one full tank and if you run out of paint or you run out
of air you’re out and we call it Top Gun. Then we play capture the flag and there are
a couple capture the flags we play. I’m sure across the country that everybody has got
their own way of playing with different rules and different terrain. Here for us what we
do is center flag and we push the flag to the other side. The other team is the command
post and it is easier to bring it back than it is to take it to the enemy’s side so we
play it that way. We also play fugitives and marshals. We send out a couple guys, volunteers,
usually that are fugitives and the marshals try to go out and capture them or kill them.
If a fugitive kills a marshal, the marshal becomes a fugitive and vice versa. We just
try to eliminate all the fugitives. There is an alien and a predator where the alien
has got powers, we take some red duct tape and put a square on him and you have got to
hit him in the middle to kill him. If he hits you, you’re a predator and you become an alien
but you don’t have the same powers that he has. You can be hit anywhere and be killed.
