How to paint heavy equipment [bulldozer project for master provisions]

Nervous wreck. You didn’t have your morning snack, did ya? Season 1. Season 2. Not good. We need to be up here and we’re like we’re surfacing but we’re treading water. Play your guitar with your whammy. They’d be like that dudes high on something. But that might get get you going. Kicking Kenny here. Forkliff. We’re back with Season 2. Jammin out! And we got a special project for you this time on Season 2 of DECONSTRUCTION This is Roger with Mass Provisions and he’s gonna explain a little more on a project we’re about to do. At Master Provisions everything we do is to serve God by connecting resources to needs. This particular project is connecting a much-needed bulldozer to help Mawuto Farm or God’s farm over in Lomé Togo. You are right here on Mawuto Farm. And as you can see having a tractor there with MF initials. Which should normally stand for Massey Ferguson. But to us this exactly means Mawuto Farm. Mawuto Farm started as a 2 acre farm four years ago They now have 15 acres they’re farming and they’ll be farming 85 acres with the help of this bulldozer. They’ll be growing corn, soybeans, pineapple, okra… This dozer will be used to expand and maintain the farm to provide much needed food in one of the poorest countries of the world. This D6 behind me isn’t the newest machine but what it is, it’s very low maintenance no computer gadgets easy to work on and I really think this is absolutely what Toga Africa could use. Everything that’s not getting painted yellow I’m gonna pull off. Hand rails. Air cleaner. And a couple other small items. We’re just gonna do what we do and go over the top. Put an awesome paint job on it so the people in Togo Africa can have something they’re very proud of. Hooking up with the sanding and getting ready to rock and roll. I’m just getting ready the under-carriage using an 80-grit sandpaper. It’s a little bit heavier but it just takes a beating, beating. So just using a heavy grab, you know, it doesn’t have to look fancy. Just clean it up so the paint takes. We’re gonna put two coats of urethane paint on here for durability and UV ray protection cause there’s a lot of sun in Africa. I guess I’m super stoked because this thing is going to Togo Africa. I never even heard this place until yesterday. The cool thing is we’re going to help a community that, I mean, I’ll probably never get the visit but just knowing that this is going there is gonna change helping people’s lives. So we’re just super pumped on doing this and it’s just who we are at Newman Tractor. We were using 80 earlier we switched to 180 on the hood. We’re making everything smooth she’ll paint up look like a brand new. We gonna put on some Poison like every rose has its thorn type music and you’re gonna start thinking of your relationships your girlfriends from high school and stuff. Back seat of that Trans Am at the movies. Tears are gonna fall. Tears are gonna fall because you’re gonna start having that flashback like look where I’m at now, look where I was and you’re gonna start thinking about that old car you wish you had. Do I want the car or the girl? The thing is, I mean with them old cars they just don’t make them anymore. This morning we’re doing some final taping so we can get our dozer painted. This is MX190. It’s a pre-cleaner. It’s one of the key steps in painting. It picks up any debris or dust that might be on the machine. You just don’t want all that stuff on your paint job, yanno. Kind of like the final stage before we start painting. See all that paint? All that gray paint? And I dropped it, it just exploded like a volcano. I was just fighting the air, couldn’t see nothing. Like the incredible Hulk like, straight up. And he came for my aid and rescued me. Hero. We sewed him up, now look at that pretty mug. Back there jammin again, Gus! We ain’t got no damn band, Randy! We got our Africa job taped off we’re about ready to put on the first top coat. I guess there are like 30 types of meat on a turtle. I got a little of that sirloin. That dude was badass. I would hang out with people like that. What happened to your teeth? Oh they got knocked out with a chainsaw. Here we are with Jimmy, Jake and Grant from Vennefron Signs We’re super stoked to have them. They’re donating all of their time and vinyl for the after project Our hearts are out to the people that are less fortunate And we know that this is going to be a project that’s going to help better their lives We’re gonna make this dozer look like this picture when it’s all done I have to find each individual little grooves a lot of cutting a lot of maneuvering Cut out instead of wrapping pull this piece so that will most likely not stick anyway Keep the areas where there’s contours to juvenate that glue. We really pay a lot of attention to detail If you could perfect it close up and stand it back is even going to look better Man, it’s getting really exciting It was awesome. It was a seven hour job no lunch. So we’re getting a little bit of hungry We’re really happy with the results big sissies Start to hand this off to Master Provisions Something this small is gonna go there and be huge to them Oh, you got to be kidding! This is God’s equipment. This is so amazing. I can’t… I don’t even know what to say… this is awesome They would say TOGO. We love Togo. My heart’s beating. We want you to be surprised when you get it at the port, it’s beautiful it’s unbelievable. Tell them thank you very much!
