How To Clean Grout – D.I.Y. At Bunnings

I’m going to show you how to clean grout. Over a period of time, bathrooms get quite
grubby. So let’s get into this and show you how we
can rejuvenate the bathroom. This is the equipment that we need to do the
job. The first thing we’re going to do with a damp
cloth is to clean the actual tiles and the grout. Then we will apply the grout cleaner. When using grout cleaner, it is paramount
that we use safety equipment: a ventilation mask, eye protection wear, and gloves. Always read the instructions on the bottle,
because they can vary. I’m going to use my grout cleaner by spraying
it on, giving it time to penetrate. Then I’ll brush it off. By using water with a brush, it just helps
clean the tiles a little better. This is a grout tool and what will be doing
using this is to rake out the mold from the grout. Don’t forget to use your dust mask, just in
case the grouting turns into a powder form and there is particles in the air. Another way to keep your bathroom spick-and-span,
it’s to use a grout pen. Which is basically a grout paint. Before using the grout pen, make sure you
give it a good a shake. All we do to use a grout pen is follow the
line of your grouting. The grout pen is a cost-effective way in rejuvenating
your bathroom without having to re-grout. A bit of grout cleaner, a bit of muscle, and
there you have it. A nice sparkling new bathroom.
