DIY Sharpie Mugs | EASY Gift Idea

DIY Sharpie Mugs | EASY Gift Idea

Hey guys, this is Trinity. Today I have my
sister Ariel here. YAY! And we are going to be showing you how to
make a really fun and easy craft today. So, we’re going to be decorating these mugs
with these beautiful sharpie paint pens. Purple, pink, orange, blue green.
So these would be great gifts for your teacher, or birthdays, or Christmas, and I’m going
to be making mine for my mom for Mother’s Day.
So what you’re going to need for this craft is a plain white mug, Sharpie Paint Pens,
alphabet stickers for their initials. And I like to put little foam hearts on there
to trace them, and paper plates so you don’t make a mess.
So my sister’s going to explain step by step how to make these beautiful mugs.
First you’re just going to want to start off by putting your mug on a plastic plate so
that you don’t get your mess all over the table.
So, your next step would be to take your initial letter and just place it on your mug. You
can do it straight, or tilted. What ever you want. For me I’m just going to do it straight.
It should look just like this. So now it’s time to pick your colours. Today
for my mug I’m going to be using blue, pink and purple. You can choose whichever colours
you want. You can use just one colour, or two, or even them all. It doesn’t really matter.
Just choose the ones that you like best. And also, if you want to know where to buy these
exact Sharpie paint pens, then they’ll be linked in the description box below.
So when get your markers you just want to shake them up a couple times and then prime
them on a scrap piece of paper several times just to make sure that they work nicely.
So lets get started decorating. This is going to be so much fun!
So when you start decorating your mug, you’re going to want to make the dots that are close
to your initial concentrated and close together like this.
Then you can start to make your dots more spread apart and less concentrated.
Once your mug is all finished decorated, and it’s fully dry, you want to peel off your
sticker. Now that your mugs are complete you can go
ahead and put them on a cookie sheet and put them in the oven at 350 for 30 minutes. And
make sure your safe, and ask your parents to put them in the oven and heat them.
Something to remember is to not put these in the dishwasher. Wash them by hand or else
the paint will come off. And you don’t want that right? So……wash them by hand.
Well, I hope you like this weeks video. Make sure you like and subscribe and make sure
you make one of these for Mothers Day or a birthday.
Thanks for watching guys, see you next week. Bye!
