The sketch is now finished and I can move on to adding the line art. If the sketch is hard to see, you can change the layer color with the [Layer Color] settings in the [Layer Property] palette. You can choose any color you like. It is also possible to lower the opacity of the underlying sketch layer if it turned out too dark. Now that it’s easier to see, I create a new layer for the lineart. With the [Pen] tool from the [Tool] palette selected, I adjust the brush size and degree of stabilization in the [Tool Property] palette. Once I’ve chosen my brush settings, I start drawing the lines. It helps to use the [Navigator] palette to zoom in and out, or even change the angle of the canvas when drawing. When concentrating on small parts, I usually zoom in a lot. For certain parts of the face, I divide the drawing on different layers. This way, it is easier to change and edit the separate parts later if necessary. Even while drawing, I keep changing the brush size and stabilization settings in the [Tool property] palette.
